What are data surveys? A simple part of staying active in the PSM community

Across the Population Science Management (PSM) community, one shared pattern continues to stand out: consistent participation in data surveys is what keeps everything moving. For Consumer Data Respondents (CDRs), that participation takes shape in small, repeatable moments, like completing a monthly data survey in the Covered365™ app.

It is a straightforward step. At the same time, it plays a meaningful role in how this community operates, how insights are gathered, and how health benefit eligibility is maintained over time.

Data surveys happening each month

Each month, new data surveys are made available in the Covered365 app. These surveys are part of the ongoing services CDRs perform as Working Owners, supporting research, data aggregation and day-to-day business operations.

Participation in these activities is not separate from the broader experience. It is directly connected to staying active and in good standing within the PSM environment.

In practical terms, that means logging in, checking for new surveys and completing them as they become available.

What CDRs are seeing

For many in the community, surveys have become a routine touchpoint, something completed alongside other monthly tasks. The process itself is simple:

  1. Open the Covered365 app
  1. Navigate to the survey section
  1. Complete and submit any new data surveys

The experience is designed to be accessible from anywhere, which allows participation to fit into different schedules and routines.

Complete your data survey from your coach, waiting in the school drop off line, checking out at the grocery store or taking a break from client meetings. Over time, this steady pattern of participation builds a consistent flow of data that reflects real experiences across the community.

Why these data surveys matters

The information gathered through monthly surveys contributes to a larger body of insights. These insights support research and help inform how tools, access points and support systems evolve within the PSM ecosystem.

Rather than a single moment of input, the value comes from consistency. A single survey provides a snapshot. Ongoing participation creates patterns; trends that reflect how people use care, navigate costs and engage with their coverage.

This is where the community aspect becomes visible. Each response adds to a shared data set shaped by real people and real usage.

What to keep in mind

Staying current with monthly surveys supports continued participation as a CDR and is vital to maintain eligibility for associated health benefits, subject to plan terms and requirements.

Participation expectations and eligibility requirements may change over time based on policy updates or applicable regulations. Because of that, keeping surveys up to date is one of the most consistent ways to stay aligned with the expectations of the program.

A steady part of participation

No single data survey defines the experience. It is the repetition, month after month, that creates continuity across the community.

For CDRs, the monthly survey is less about urgency and more about rhythm. It is one of the simplest ways to stay connected, contribute to the broader data ecosystem and continue participating in what PSM is building over time.
